Hi everyone,

Managed to source a set of anniversary alloys but unfortunately the VW badges have white worm and are pretty faded.

Been looking everyone to find someone who can make a set up for me but no luck.

Does anyone know where to buy any of these inserts at a reasonable price

Failing that, anyone know where to get any custom gel resin decals made to fill the 78mm hole?

Cheers everyone

AliExpress or Ebay, I purchased a set of badges & whilst the were copies I sealed the gaps with CA glue & a few layers of lacquer & 5 years on they still look like new, whereas the previous ones only last about 6 months before deteriorating

Thanks for the reply @DJF and @Burgy

Managed to source some custom resin inserts from a chap on ebay for £25. I'll post some pictures of them on the wheels when they arrive back from the powder coaters.

Appreciate the advice.

Quick follow up in case this helps anyone in the future.

Stickers came out really well. Do drop me a PM if you want the name of the eBay seller, he custom made these ones for me.

Simply peeled off the old ones from their plastic base, cleaned with isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue and dirt, then stuck the new ones on.

I was missing the plastic base for one of the centre caps so I ordered an 80mm pre-cut black perspex disc from eBay, then used the 'Dog's B*****s' sealent to secure it in place within the alloy centre cap- I then stuck the decal over as before. We'll see how long this one lasts. Can't even tell the difference honestly.

Will apply a layer of super glue around the edges of the decal to prevent any water from ruining them.

Will post a picture with them on the car when I get a chance.

Hope this is helpful.
