Hi I've been getting a few fault codes related to my MAF

000258 - mass air flow sensor (G70)
P0102 = 002 - Signal low

01314 - Engine control module
             013 - check DTC memory

I think the second fault goes away when the first fault is fixed, I've had the fault for a few weeks now, I did buy a brand new MAF and I'm still having the same fault, when I used VCDS I was getting a very low G70 g/s reading and now it just reads as zero no matter what MAF I use, all the wires seem to be plugged into the female D connector that goes into the MAF, any ideas what I can check next?

Was it a generic MAF or genuine?

If generic, buy a second hand genuine one.

Verify the loom back to the ECU.
