Hello All,

Does anyone know of an engine builder in/near the west midlands that will do a decent job on a 1.8T (AGU)?

I only want to run a K300 turbo on it, so around the 300hp mark but i want a minimum of rods and fresh bearings.

I have spoken to my most local one, who is very reputable and i am looking at around £3000.

(Rods, Rebore, Pistons & Rings, Gaskets, Belts, Pumps and refit)

Badger5 have quoted about £1800 to do the rods as a drive-in/drive-out service.

I want to get it built so i can get it for a mapper.

Concentrate on having that in the bag before anything else.  Very little do AGUs now.

Phil Cooper/Mallory Performance will do it, i checked last week and he is still live mapping them.

Worst case scenario, Emerald K6 and mapping comes in about £1000.

I did look at that option, it was nearly as pricey as standalone!

If you can send it over, it would be appreciated.

I have looked on google but can't find anything except for in Ireland.
