I got round to replacing the rear interior bulbs and
a previous owner of a car I picked up a few months back seems to have gutted the circuits out of the rear interior lights and then super glued them back together partly and pushed them back in with the wires disconnected, Does anyone know why they might have done this, I've ordered some replacements off Ebay so should be an easy fix but it just seems like a very strange thing to do, I've also changed 3 out of 4 door modules so wondering if it might be a centeral locking related thing with the lights also having the ultrasonic sensors built into them.

I didn't realise I had until I looked back, the page wasn't working because of my slow internet, I couldn't find how i could remove three of them.

The rear light units also have ultrasonic sensors in them for the car alarm.

No idea why they've been butchered tbh.

Those little lights come on when you unlock the car with the key/keyfob

The boot also unlocks when I double lock the car, I'm guessing there must be an issue with the ccm as I've read the actuator connects directly to it.
