I have a Mk5 Golf GT, and the drivers seat is pretty dirty, I did a wet vax which got rid of a lot of it, however in a pretty short time it has come back, so I am going to remove the seat covers & stick them in the washing machine. I suspect that the grime maybe in the seat cushion so will give that a good wash also. Is there anywhere that I can get a replacement foam & cover I have had a google but can't find anything.  I also don't know any car breakers near me. The only used ones that I have seen are grey fabric, but mine is a "sage" green. Any thoughts?  TIA

I'd just say do another wet vac of them.

No need to remove the seat cover , really that's a hell of a lot of work !

Just use a fabric presoak on them. Same stuff as you'd use in your washing machine really. Stuff like vanish , spray it on. Leave it a few mins. Agitate with a soft brush and wet vac it all out.

Repeat until you're happy
