My 3rd brake light isn't working .

The central locking and rear wiper are working , so I'm cautiously ruling out a breakage in the loom.

Has anyone ever replaced a third brake light and is it difficult and is it something that can break ??

Any ideas how much a new one is ?

Ok, scrap that. I've got a break in the wiring loom on the left hinge. Joys

My mums mk5 has just done this, you can buy repair kits on eBay that look 'ok'.

C pillar, boot trim and some splicing ahead!

Any tips for c Piller removal noo ?

Im thinking to solder a new length of wire from c Piller to 3rd brake light rather than attempt to repair the split in the hinge hose
