Does anyone have a good guide for a water pump change with tools required for a 2000 Golf 1.8t? Haven’t found anything good from browsing google, and want to make sure I have everything before starting.

It's just a timing belt change.  16, 18, 13, 10, 6mm Allen, 15mm spanner.

Remove aux belt using the 15mm spanner.

Remove bottom 4 bolts on the crankshaft pulley.  They're Allen heads.  DO NOT ROUND.

Remove aux pulley.

Move coolant ball, power steering bottle and make space.

Support engine.

Remove two 18mm bolts.

Remove three 16mm bolts on mount.

Remove mount.

Remove covers.
Remove belt.  Put at TDC using stock timing marks.

Remove three 10mm bolts holding WP bolt.

Replace pump.

Replace belt.

Redo.
