I've seen recommendations to use Castrol Edge 5W-30 LL and then others say to use the VW Quantum.

Confused to say the least.

Which is the recommended oil for my car please?

Thanks  :-)

Both are fine you'll actually find that Castrol Edge 5w30 longlife actually has the right requirements and is compatible with VW Quantum...

So buy what you want... although VW Quantum LL might be cheaper.

It would be for both.... i just told you both oils have the same specifications.... it's longlife but if you are like most of us... just change it once a year with a new oil filter.... and with the emission systems on the cars now I wouldn't leave the oil in mine longer than a year regardless of it being longlife or not
