Hey guys,

My 1.8t AUM has a no power to the windscreen washer motor. I've checked the fuse and also pulled relay 389 which doesn't show any defect (haven't electrically tested it as I don't know how).

The only test I've carried out is to pit 12v direct to the motor and it worked but I couldn't get any spray from my windscreen jets, only the headlamp washers activated.

Any ideas what to do to fix this?

TIA

Stalk or relay is how the motor gets power.  The lot is powered by S224, 20A.

thanks Adam. Gonna replace relay 389 first before attempting the stalk. Before I do, do you know how to test the relay as I have had a look at it but can't physically see anything wrong with it.
Thanks

Update:

Have purchased 2 relays that say are for my car but when installed the wipers are constantly on FFS but still no power to washer pump. So god knows how I'll find the right relay.

Now me being stupid, I tried the relay upside down to see if I was putting it in wrong. Realised I wasn't putting it in wrong but what also happened while doing this is it activated the head lamp washers. Couldn't see water spraying out so I suppose I still have an issue with the pump power.

Going to try find this darn relay!
