Heya All, 

 

My mums power steering seems to have stopped... 

 

Scanned with VCDS 01309 - power steering control module 

49-00 no communications

 

I have checked and there is power and earth to the pump.. 

 

Im not that clued up on the power steering on these things. 

 

Any ideas before i buy a new pump or rack as i believe the communications module is in the steering rack?

 

also checked all fuses
