Hi,

I know this isn to vw related, but I need some advice please.

I have an old trailer and someone nicked a wheel.
I have been trying to find one that fits, but not sure how, as it’s an old, car axle based trailer.

I have tried to measure the distance between the holes in the wheel, but there are so many similar ones, I’m not sure the exact measurements.

I have put an old pair of wheels from a Ford escort, which almost fit.
I tried to show in the photo the Ford wheel, which goes on, but I can’t tighten fully due to the holes being slightly too close together. Also shows the measurement of the Ford wheel as stamped on the wheel. Other photos are of me trying to measure the old wheel.

To me, it looks like approx 114mm diagonally and 84mm down.

Thanks in advance fellows a400cd05bcdf4ea5564cb6e3b7c787e3.jpg

That Ford wheel is 4x108, and since it's only a small difference I'd hazard a guess at 4 X 114.3 for the other wheel, plus you've measured roughly 114 so that adds up.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be able to help, but if not, I'd be tempted to visit the scrappy to see what wheels they have around. They'll likely let you test fit them for free, then you can find one that fits and just note the specs of it.

3 – 4X4. 50 is a bolt pattern mainly used on smaller vehicles like honda accord, honda prelude, kia optima and kia spectra. and that is what i got doing a quick google search.

So 4x4.50 is the same as 4x114.3 right?
Is there a list anywhere of cars that use these?

Yeah 114.3... mostly found on Jap/USA cars...
But there are loads of lists just search for wheel PCD's of all brands and a few will pop up. Failing that the fastcar magazine website has done a list last year and it's on their website... will take some digging to find it in there but it is there.
