as long as you are the one that ordered the car you could have gotten it in LC4U with yellow dots if you so desired... in other words, who cares?
do you own it? no, afaik your car is black.... if it was on an anniversary or an r32 it would've been a bit more special... but it's on a simple TDI it won't make it any more special, just more of a pita if the car needs respraying.

if you are into purple than yes, for me it's just a purple car, i don't like that colour, so i would never ever buy it, and if i got it for free... i would have it repainted in any colour but that... i don't care if it's the only one ever made in that colour to me it's horrible... but that is my opinion.

I think for the ~mulberry fans it'll hold it's value well if it still exists, but I doubt it. You'll be gutted to know that it's on my list of possible colours but I doubt I will because there's one up here the same colour and I can't be doing that...

Don't do it... you can use it as an accent colour.... I myself have another favourite colour that is oem VW and they stopped using it somewhere in the early nineties.... audi got a few colours they stopped using also, but if I was you, I would be looking at a sun-burned orange pearl effect.... with satin black or charcoal black as an accent colour...I think for the ~mulberry fans it'll hold it's value well if it still exists, but I doubt it.
