I have AJM PD115 engine. On cold start there is noisy engine sound for couple seconds like ticking/tapping?

I think it can't be recorded.

Lifters are changed 10 000kms ago, but changed nothing. It is same sound which I heard when I bought car a couple years ago.

I always used OEM filters and 505.01 and last time 507.00 oil.

Also when cold engine idles i feel some kind of little vibrations from time to time.


When it's warm, sound is normal, no ticking, nothing.

Camshaft?

Most likely one of the hydraulic lifters/tappets is getting a bit tired and the check valve is leaking oil when you turn off the engine causing the tappet to increase the valve clearance which causes a rattle on start up until the engine oil pressure pumps up and adjusts the clearances again.

As long as it dissapears almost immediately theres nothing much to worry about in the short term but if the engine starts getting rattly for longer, continuously or when idling it would be time to get the rocker off for a look.

Sounds like oil pressure/lack of.  What oil filter?  Some have a non-return valve designed to retain volume.

Lifters aren't the only thing to wear.  Video?

With proper maintenance correct oil and new lifters not long since I still think it likely the check valve on one has failed.
