Hi
I'm curious what paint code is on the sticker of Polo Harlekin? It have listed all 4 colours or there's special code for harlekin?

The 4 colours are listed separately...
If you would have typed it in Google you would have found it immediately...

I answered that in the first sentence...

Or did that not compute in your brain?

I put the link there so he has all the right colour names and codes... not for any other reason.

Next time don't jump the gun but try and understand the answer before trying to correct someone.

What are you both blind? And can't read?

I said:"THEY ARE LISTED SEPARATELY"
in the first sentence.... meaning on the paper work you will see 4 separate paint codes!

If you don't get it now than I don't know how to make it more clear!

I think you're wrong tbh.  The log book has to have one colour, the same as the data sticker.  It'll be the shell colour, so whatever the quarter/sills are.

Nope it had all the colours listed separately on it i used to own one... all 4 colours listed but the name of the paint (harlequin) was there in front of the paint codes...

But that was in the Netherlands, don't know if that was done differently even the sticker in the boot had all the 4 codes listed not just the main colour of the shell.

I wasn't in a bad mood, just replied quickly, so left the emojies out... luckily locarno got it (hence the lol in his reply)

Yes there are 2 ways of reading my replies in this particular case... one is serious the other is how I actually would've said it, with humour

From what I understood,

The colour listed on the data sticker would have been what the colour of the body shell would have been painted. So the easiest way to describe would be what the roof colour was

There used to be a vw diagram listing what colour combinations there was.

Eg. red roof meant you got (X) colour front wing , (y) colour bonnet ,(z) colour for the boot lid

Interesting enough, I MOT checked a reg for one last night and it came back as "mutli coloured".  Never seen that before, so that's cool.  Maybe it does just say multi coloured on the logbook? Sticker will be the quarter colour I'd have thought.

Well that is the difference with the Netherlands than as I said before on mine it just said Harlequin and than followed by the 4 paint codes... and saying that thinking about it the roof/shell colour was the first one on in the list.

I actually bought it for the wife she didn't like it and sold it on 2 weeks later after I replaced the gearbox.. and made a massive profit.

Nope this was back in the early 90 ties, i never took a picture of it back than i wasn't to bothered with that... now i take pics at different angles from any car I own... I wished i did that before as i've had an extensive list of pretty special cars... hell i don't even have pictures of my old mk2 golf 16vg60, not even from the build... I really regret and wonder why i never bothered, actually i know why, back than digital camera's where expensive and i was spending my money on car parts rather than camera's...
