Found water in the rear passenger footwell. The door seal rubber has come loose in a few places due to broken clips. I havn't been able to find this particular type of clip online, has anybody seen them anywhere? Or an alternative type which would suffice?

On mine they hold a rubber weather sealing strip along the inside lower edge of doors. I remove them to access my drain holes in the doors, they're quite fragile and with mine given their age I've broken a few myself. I'm thinking to try fix with super glue cause I saved em. IF you happen to find them can ya please lemme know where you got them?

I should have mentioned this. As Ben described - they hold a rubber weather sealing strip along the inside lower edge of doors.

Unfortunatly these clips don't fit, I already bought and tried them. They have additional square shaped plastic bits which prevents inserting them into the rubber.

Thanks for looking. The ends of the clip look very different and maybe too big, mine have a flat thin base to insert into the rubber, and a thin round shaped end, but the middle part of those clips looks more what I am looking for, so they might work. Have you used these yourself on a mk4, or have they been mentioned in past threads as a suitable alternative?

I've contacted the site you linked to, will update if they respond.

Those maybe, they look very close to. If I get a chance I'll pop one out today and slap a vernier caliper on it for some measurements.

Cheers Ben. They do look like they will do the job. Found a UK seller for them, trying some other clips first, if they don't fit then I will buy these as a last attempt.

Thanks. I think this is the one, I've ordered some. It looks a bit thicker than mine, but mine might not be stock, put in by a previous owner.

Deadly stuff man cheers! I reached out to em on eBay and they said they don't ship internationally right now (?????¡¿) so whatever my brother lives in UK so he's gonna order em and post to me.

I've a new part needing found myself, little rubber stopper located in the plastic top engine cover. Far as I can tell it just stops it vibrating when she's running.
Its 16mm (x 5mm high) dia on bottom and then ~12mm (x9mm high) up top at the narrowed part. It's 14mm long. Has no part number so I'm guessing it's probably a universal thing? ef2bbcc426b0f9b187ec73c2a23c907d.jpgb44e964dbec3f0934c07d6db2aee6ac5.jpgd2195cf2cd1689b6f81d0e268bbcf0dc.jpg
