Nice buy, looks very clean.

Hopefully should be much less of a headache than the Golf was too.

It is.. Apart from a bit of bubbling on the tailgate there's no rust.
Totally original, unmolested and 110k.

No unwanted wobbles, rattles, pops or bangs..
I'm hopeful for a relatively hassle free ride (and some tasteful mods at some point).

good buy, I really wanted a octavia estate, had my eye on a few L&K models. But I live in London and ULEZ made diesel just completely unviable for me. I wanted a 105ps diesel octavia because it loves used veg oil apparantly.

i like it, although i don't like the octavia mk1 front, never did ... actually the mk3 octavia  and younger look really nice...  and it doesn't need much to make it look better ...

some lowering and some nice wheels (talking vrs here)

We thought about putting the Audi 17's from the golf on it...
But then sold the Golf..

Kirsty likes the newer front end but I really like the mk1...
To me it's got like a classic, old school esque thing going...

Can't lower it, local speed humps and Kirsty works on building sites....

I’d rather have golf, hate skodas. Way cheaper built and you can feel it. I have 2008 skoda and it rides same as my mk4 did.

This definitely doesn't feel as solid as the mk4, that's for sure..

Just an itch we needed to scratch and the right car at the right time..

Yours looks nice..

It’s ok. These winter wheels, summer ones are these7c292df9090392d4727af59126c32fb9.jpg
Tried them on a caddy for a bit
Pd170 mapped, has more than enough power. Vrs seats suck ass on coilovers, it’s so harsh. I always drive this with seat warmers on because it rattles my spine but the heat makes it a bit bearabla. It’s more of a work horse, selling it to a friend soon. Going to stick with quattro stuff.
