Hi guys, I wonder if anyone could help me? My bonnet opened by itself the other day on the motorway and flipped opened on me. As a result this has cracked the windscreen (new windscreen on order) and damaged the bonnet itself (new bonnet also on order). When looking in the engine bay I noticed that on top of the passenger side strut top there's a piece of folded metal (looks spot welded) where the bottom of the bonnet strut connects into. Just wondering can I order this part as I cannot find it in any parts catalogue and googling the part number on the part comes up with nowt. This part has completely bent over it self and ripped itself off the spot weld - so repair is completely out of the question. Thanks for any advice.
