We have one of each - I have only driven the Manual one however I can imagine the 6 speed DSG is the same one that I had in my Scirocco GT.

That's what I'm wondering as the 6-speed DSG with the older 140 CR TDI worked really well, far better than you'd ever expect in a medium sized car. I'm hoping the MK7 GT TDI DSG is as good! Must test drive one at some point...

Im pretty sure its nice, I will try and grab a drive in it at some point but I prefer the manual as it has the bigger, upgraded nav which is just great and bigger, 18" wheels :).
